Bisbee Telethon

Now in its 6th year, The Bisbee Telethon has become an annual event that is anticipated by performers and the community of Bisbee, Arizona. Most would have never considered a orchestrated, live and televised event in a community of 6,500 people. But Bisbee has defied the odds on more than one occasion. It is the home of the second oldest cable system in the United States and has televised Cochise County’s Association for the Handicapped Annual Cake Auction and City of Bisbee Council Meetings for decades.

Another milestone for the tiny Arizona border-town was the creation of Boys and Girls Club of Bisbee. The community is small and the national organization doubted that it could be sustained, but it has survived with many individuals of the governing board doubling as founding members. It is evident that the club and the annual event that helps bring programs to children who participate are a spectacular pair.

Dan Simonis will again be part of this program, bringing his Americana brand of music for your listening pleasure. He will be playing songs off his recent release such as Didn't Commit, West Texas Town and a host of others. So come Saturday, April 30, for fun, food, and Dan's music for a great cause.

Thanks for your support
